Will be an opportunity to share moments of pain but there is also room for a bit of happiness
"pregnant women" is one of the first steps in the analysis of Bergman moves to resume life as a couple on several occasions in a path as long as her filmography and that touches on high as' Scenes From A Marriage "
Marriage as a social bond and affection has always been subject to extensive discussion almost anywhere is an essential element for humans than it is in the air, and it's beautiful as well as quite unusual for those times that marriage is told, remembered, analyzed by four female characters a bit 'trapped a social hypocrisy little 'free to express strong cultural change taking place. Bergman captures and holds a symposium of words and stories and discomfort at the same time the beauty and joy but also the pain of being a woman in marriage, the other half is often considered the second in order of importance but rather the focus more violent impulses and the cradle of the reactions and feelings are stronger. Four women with different experiences affirm their presence in this world and in their marriages becoming a bit 'mothers of their husbands and friends of themselves for their pains. Four episodes narrated in different ways, with different cuts, but seen through the eyes of an almost condescending Bergman, powerless in front of his "creatures" that great but becoming ubiquitous: it is the wise father, our silent narrator.
The unique beauty of being a woman is that is composed of a thousand faces, all different and the love of a woman is born, grows, but almost never die, maybe it's the maternal instinct, or perhaps the sweet surrender and determined to fall into emotions as well.
Bergman plays with space, with the lights as if to symbolize the fragmented nature of the female and love which is willing to try. The stories the protagonists are sewn on the shape and structure of their faces, their thoughts. It 's a great and subtle work as a director who is a good evidence base in the immense actor of the four actresses who give a face to these real women and almost raised to idols.
It 's a film to watch carefully, calmly and with affection. It 's a film to rock and love with total confidence.
